Expetec Technology Services, Inc., the nation’s leading Information Technology franchise company, headquartered in Aberdeen, South Dakota, recently announced the formation of an IT Industry Advisory Council. The group which is made up of the nation’s leading IT experts was tasked by company president Joan Ganje-Fischer to chart strategic directions, identify industry trends, new products and services, and future opportunities for the rapidly growing organization.

In addition to Ganje-Fischer, the group included Expetec Vice Presidents Steve Kohles, Steve Hogg and Dale Bain and industry authorities Gary Beechum and Erick Simpson, Intelligent Enterprises/MSPU, Garden Grove, California, Justin Crotty, VP of Services for North America, Ingram Micro, Inc., Santa Ana, California and Alex Rogers, president ARRC Technologies and an Expetec Franchisee, Bakersfield California.

During the groups two day conclave at Expetec corporate headquarters, members focused attention on the company’s managed services offering which has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the company’s target market, small to medium sized businesses. Expetec’s managed services offering, E-solution, is the newest means of managing technology allowing company franchisees to remotely monitor and manage IT systems for scores businesses in their franchise territory.
“We are committed to bringing the latest in technology to our franchisees who experienced a 194% growth in 2007,� said Ganje-Fischer who’s company has spent millions of dollars re-building the 15 year old organization.

Ganje-Fischer also reminded the group that the IT industry is definitely heading in the direction of franchising and of the company’s dedication to bringing not only the latest in solutions, but also training, marketing, and business development to their franchisees and to independent operators that may be looking to join their franchise system.
The company also announced its plans to roll out its Regional Development Center concept later this fall.
